Library staff will be promoting Manix at various high school assemblies during June through a dance performance by the Mangere based dance group the Funky Munkyz. The theme of the performance will highlight the value of books and reading.

Members of Funky Munkyz were also part of the Mangere College group that won the Bring it on Dance championships for both Southern Zone (Manukau) and the Auckland Region 2006.

At least they brought back the championship and these dudes are keeping with the Funky Munkyz spirit.  It's no surprise to me that New Zealanders are behind this since we have family from NZ.
