January 7, 2006 Alex G., "A Look Back"
Some of you have been e-mailing me about the rumors of our next performance. We'll explain all that later, but I wanted to post because I had a nightmare about it the other night. We got on stage and we all realized we hadn't practiced or made a set list. So I tell the guys, okay, let's hit them with "Don't Look Back." I play the first two chords and all of a sudden the guitar is way out of tune. I look down and I have this garbage of a guitar that Trevor bought a while back. This guitar he bought has a piece of wood that's been stuck in the back of it to keep the strings tight. I played it cool, but inside I was in a panic. Then I woke up. I think he should burn the guitar so that never happens because so far the rest of the dream is real!
The pic I think is from 2001 sometime. Todd's trying to be all the center of attention. It was from a concert we went to of one of our favorite all-time bands, The Classic Rock All-Stars. Yea, that's the same Peter Rivera formerly of Rare Earth that signed our guestbook!
